Today, we take a vegetable under a magnifying glass, which is known to everyone and very often guests in the kitchen. It is counted among the superfoods, which has a lot of valuable properties and ingredients necessary for the body. Of course, we are talking here about parsley.
Parsley comes from a family of plants known as celery. In Poland it is treated as an annual species, which can be successfully grown in gardens. It consists of a root growing underground (also edible) and reaching even several dozen centimetres of parsley. Since time immemorial, the natka has been very often used in the kitchen - mainly for a variety of soups, such as broth, tomato or vegetable soups. Parsley parsley also works well as the main ingredient of creams and pesto. It can also be boldly combined with fish, as well as with meat - gently emphasizes the taste of these dishes. Due to a number of valuable nutritional and health properties, parsley is very often used for green cocktails, which have recently enjoyed great popularity. Parsley can also be used as a decorative element of many dishes, such as salads.
Among the valuable health-promoting properties of parsley, one should certainly mention the fact that it has more vitamin C than orange or cabbage. Its influence on the human body is therefore invaluable and very similar to that of vegetables such as garlic, onion or leek.
The unbelievable value of parsley is that it can be boldly dried and frozen. What's more, the plant doesn't lose a lot of its valuable properties - so you can also use parsley in the kitchen during the winter, when access to it is somewhat limited.
The fact that it is a very cheap and available product speaks in favour of using parsley regularly in your home. It can also be grown in a pot at home - there are no special requirements, you only need a sunny place and regular access to water.
The parsley is perfect as an addition to many dishes. You can prepare a parsley cocktail based on it, which will add energy and vitality, and is also a real vitamin bomb. Parsley will also work well in dishes prepared for lunch - our offer includes a salad with zucchini and an aromatic parsley. When preparing lunch you can add parsley to cod or other favourite fish or shrimps and sprinkle boiled or baked potatoes with it. For people who are on a vegetarian diet we recommend lentil desserts - the parsley, which can be added to it is a very valuable source of many vitamins and nutrients and helps people on the diet to properly balance all the macro- and microelements necessary for the proper functioning of the body. All this makes it worthwhile to include parsley in your menu and add it to the prepared dishes.
