Bobik is a very popular vegetable in oriental cuisine. Gradually it also starts to conquer hearts and stomachs. In addition to its unique taste, it is a treasury of protein, potassium and fibre, which is why dishes with its addition maintain the feeling of satiety for a long time.
Quick and simple salad with beans
Ingredients:
- the head of iceberg lettuce
- green cucumber
- can of boiled field beans (e.g. brand Jasmeen)
- 2 large tomatoes
- 2 cloves of garlic
- olive oil
- lemon juice
- salt
- parsley
- basil
Preparation:
Put the cooked beans from the can into a sieve and rinse with cold water. Cut tomatoes, cucumber and lettuce, and chop parsley and basil finely, put everything into a bowl. Then add the cooked faba beans and the garlic squeezed through the press. Season with lemon juice, olive oil and salt. Mix thoroughly. Put the finished salad into the fridge for an hour.
Arabic salad with beans
Ingredients:
- 1 can of boiled field beans
- handful of black olives
- 1 large tomato
- 1 onion
- ½ glass of natural yoghurt
- 1 spoonful of tahina (e.g. by Jasmeen)
- a pinch of ground hot paprika
- olive oil
Preparation:
Cut the onion and tomato into cubes and put into a bowl. Drain the beans and add them to the previously cut vegetables. Mix the natural yoghurt with tahina in a separate bowl and pour it over the contents of the bowl. Then add black olives and sprinkle with hot paprika and oil drops. Mix the salad thoroughly.
