After each use of the oven we should clean it well, but there is not always time, strength, willingness or simply forget about it. Find out how to clean a dirty oven.
A dirty oven is the result of food preparation, and when it comes to cleaning, disorientation occurs. Why? After all, no one wants chemical cleaning products to penetrate into food - hence this fear. There are some ways to help clean a dirty oven, even if it is burnt. Regular cleaning will allow you to get rid of the unwanted smell while baking.
Where to start?
Before washing the oven, remove all the shelves, then soak them in hot water with dishwashing liquid and leave for some time. Scrumbs left inside after eating should be cleaned with a clean brush.
How to clean the oven?
The next step is to prepare the cleaning mixture. Add a few teaspoons of purified soda, spirit vinegar and water. Mix everything together so that a soft pap is formed. If you have burnt areas that cover the oven for a longer period of time, you should also add salt, which can handle this without any problems.
The mixture should be applied to the entire surface with a cloth or toothbrush. After leaving the product, you can take care of the oven shelves, which in heavily soiled areas are worth treating with vinegar. After a few minutes break, you can return to the oven and grate the previously applied pap, after adding a bit of water or vinegar. When the surface under your fingers is free of rough deposits, you can easily wash the soda with a moistened cloth.
When cleaning the oven, the fan must also be taken care of. In this case, it is better to avoid slurry and clean with a mixture of water and vinegar. It is also possible to use a grill cleaner - there is no need to worry about chemistry, as it is suitable for surfaces that come into contact with food.
In order to protect the oven from remnants of food residues, it should be washed with a vinegar cloth after each use. The unpleasant smell of vinegar will quickly disappear and the oven will remain clean and, above all, safe for food.
Long-lasting combustion - how to remove it?
It is hard to get rid of heavily dried dirt, which is present for quite a long time. Fortunately, there is one more option - it is aluminium foil. Place it on the bottom of the oven and just use it. After some time, the dirt that is difficult to remove under the foil should turn into ash, which can be easily sweeped or removed with a moistened cloth.
